We were incredibly fortunate to have Hollie work with our son on his maths. Hollie has been tutoring my 9 year old daughter in Mathematics over the last year. My daughter was struggling with maths at school and found this subject especially hard to focus on in a class environment.
When we started using Hollie, my daughter had done very badly in some mid-term testing and we were struggling to give her extra support as parents.
Since Hollie has been working with her the improvement in maths has been astonishing. She has gone from being well below her expected level to being happily within the middle of her year group and still improving. Hollie knows her subject and also the appropriate syllabus very well so there has been seamless working with her and what the school have been teaching. Hollie has a lovely, calming manner and has provided a relaxed atmosphere for my daughter which she has really benefited from in a one-to-one setting and we could not be happier with her as a tutor.
